AICC President poll: Mallikarjun Kharge arrives Hyderabad to campaign for his candidature

Hyderabad, Oct 8 (UNI) All India Congress Committee (AICC) Presidential candidate Mallikarjun Kaharge, MP (Rajya Sabha) arrived here on Saturday by a special flight for campaign. He was received at the Begumpet Airport by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President A Ravanth Reddy, MP and among others. After reaching Gandhi Bhavan, he met with the PCC representatives at Indira Bhavan. Later speaking to the media, Kharge said that these elections are conducted within the party candidates. Such elections have never been conducted in the BJP party’s history. Kharge said that the AICC president elections are scheduled to be held on October 17. He was conducting an election campaign to urge the voter of 9000 personally. So far four times had conducted elections for AICC president during the 138 years of Congress history. This election is the fifth time, he said. He assured to implement the Udayapur declaration. Kharge also promised to extend his support to all the sections including farmers, youth, women in the country. Kharge criticized the BJP led NDA government at the Centre for misusing all systems. Poor people are getting injustice with the selling of public sectors. Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised to decrease the unemployment percentage but it was increased after Covid pandemic. He said that the rupee value also went down during the PM Modi regime. With this the prices of Petrol, diesel and essential commodities skyrocketed. The Centre also imposed GST on milk and kids using pencils also. LPG gas prices also crossed to Rs 1100, Kharge said.
